Introduction to open water swimming

Service Description

Why not come along and learn all about open water swimming. This sessions will be fun packed and informative covering everything you need to know around open water swimming. Our 2hr session will include the following: Registration and introduction. Freebies which include swim cap What swim kit to buy. How to put a wetsuit on. Safety and hazards around open water. Safety equipment. Breathing techniques. Acclimatization and what to look for. What to do in an emergency. Venues verses public access. Groups and venues to hook up with. A group swim with full safety cover. Double dip for wetsuit swimmers. Hot drink and a selection of cakes will be given at the end of your swim. What will I need to bring? Swim wear, we can provide shorty wetsuits up to size 18 at no extra cost. Ear plugs. Big towel to get dry with afterwards. Crocs or alternative wet shoes/socks We are also sell Swim Secure tow floats at a cheaper rate than most outlets. The venue is located on a private lake in Bury, all details will be sent out upon payment received. Please note we operate a no refund policy. Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule please contact us: Holidays: 21 days prior to your swim camp. Guided solo swims: 21 days prior to your swim. Triskeli micro events: 21 days prior to your event. Workshops & 121 sessions: 14 days prior to your session. Please note we reserve the right to retain an admin. All admin fees are varied dependant on the type of booking made.
