Mindfulness Swims

Triskeli swims have been working on a special mindfulness swims package that aims to target wellbeing and mental health for all ability of swimmers.


Our Mindfullness swims will be going live at the end of June with its first trial based in Greater Manchester.


For those of you who do not know anything about mindfulness here is a simple explanation:


Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present as in the here and now, aware of where we are and what we’re doing.


Not be overwhelmed by what’s going on around us in our everday lives.


EVERYONE has the potential to unlock this and learn how to access it.


Our sessions aim to teach and take you to a peaceful place within a tranquil setting.


We are hoping to have pods of upto 6 swimmers per session. Using specific mindfulness technquies to enable you to enjoy and learn how to develop and retrain your brain.


During your session you will learn how to meditate using specific breathing exercise, which you can eventually develop and transfere to your swim stroke.


There are many benefits to mindfulness and these combined with open water is a perfect combination to combact stress and grow mental wellbeing.


We will soon be delivering our mindfulness swims in both open water and pool environment with the view to deliver these sessions on a national scale by working along side with the NHS
